The world’s highest tides. One of Nature’s spectacular displays, with two performances daily: Fourteen billion tonnes of seawater race from the Bay of Fundy into the Minas Basin. The dramatic tide whirls in and out of the Minas Basin; listen for the ‘Voice of the Moon’ in its echoes. At Chignecto Bay, sea stacks and arches like surrealist sculptures rising from the water. The sandstone cliffs and fossil-rich shores of Five Islands and Joggins…at low tide, walk the bottom of the sea floor.
An invigorating journey to revive the senses.
