Reservations and Payments
Our walking holiday groups are limited to 12 guests, so booking early is a good idea. You can make a reservation in two ways:
1. Complete the online registration form and e-mail or fax it along with $500 per person deposit. (credit card or cheque)
2. Call us at 1-800-262-8644 from North America or (902) 858-2060 and we will confirm your registration with a $500 deposit on your Visa or MasterCard.
Please note that due to fluctuating Exchange rates, all credit card charges will be processed in Canadian funds.
Upon receiving your reservation, we will send you a package of information including a detailed itinerary, participant information sheet including liability waiver, general regional information, a suggested packing list, pre and post hotel suggestions, a map and suggested reading material.
The balance of the trip cost is due 60 days prior to the trip departure and with your authorization can be charged to your credit card automatically or use our convenient monthly installment plan - you set the amount to charge and we will look after the rest..
If you choose to have a room to yourself a single supplement charge of 20% will apply to the total cost of the trip. If you are willing to share, the single supplement is charged and later refunded once we are able to match you with a roommate.

Tour Inclusions
Upon Day 1 departure each tour fees includes all meals, lodging at comfortable and sometimes luxurious accommodations, knowledgeable and friendly regional guides, transportation in modern vans, all park and activity fees included on our itinerary, gratuities at accommodations and restaurants, all taxes. Not included: airfare, alcoholic beverages, and gratuities for guides.
Cancellation Insurance
We strongly urge you to obtain trip cancellation insurance to protect your holiday investment in case you have to cancel or leave your trip early. We can provide coverage, through our travel consultant and Maritime Travel Insurance, when you make your reservation. Trip cancellation insurance must be purchased within 48 hours of booking your trip.
Getting Here
We can provide you with information about how to contact our travel consultant who is familiar with our trips and can assist in travel arrangements and hotels for before and after your trip.We cannot be responsible for vehicles and parking during your trip although with advance notice we can pass along suggestions.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation of a reservation must be done in writing and the cancellation charge will be determined according to the following schedule:

A $100 fee applies if you wish to change to another adventure within 60 days prior to original trip departure.
Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason. In the rare event that Scott Walking Adventures has to cancel a trip due to low enrollment, you will receive a minimum of 30 days notice and a full refund. Please check with us before confirming your vacation plans to ensure that the trip is confirmed for departure.
